Your Privacy Choices

At Makeup Westchester, we respect your privacy. This page explains your rights regarding the personal information we collect, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the laws of the State of New York.

Makeup Westchester does not sell or share your personal information. We never have, and we never will. Therefore, there is no need to “opt out” of any sale. However, you still have other important privacy rights described below.

Your Rights Under New York Law (NY SHIELD Act)

If you are a New York resident, you are protected by the NY SHIELD Act. While New York law does not currently provide the same “access” or “deletion” rights as the CCPA, we voluntarily extend those rights to all our users. Additionally, under the SHIELD Act:

  • We are required to implement reasonable safeguards to protect your personal information
  • If a data breach occurs, we will notify you within 30 days as required by New York law

Submit a Privacy Request (Access, Deletion, Correction)

You may request to:

  • Access – what personal information we have about you
  • Delete – your personal information (subject to legal exceptions)
  • Correct – any inaccurate information

To make a request, please email us at makeupwestchester@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. Please include your full name and the nature of your request. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days as required by law (or sooner, if possible).

Authorized Agent

If you are an authorized agent making a request on behalf of a California resident, please provide written permission signed by the resident and verify your own identity with us.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. You will not be denied services, charged different prices, or receive a different level of service because of a privacy request.
